Home-based primary care is when healthcare services are provided in your home via either telehealth or home visits by your primary care physician. This enables you to quickly receive the care you need without having to worry about taking time off work or how you are getting to the doctor's office.

Having home-based primary care also reduces the cost of going to the doctor, especially when the primary care office doesn't have a brick-and-mortar office.  This is because the medical office saves the cost of renting a space, the need for large medical equipment, etc. so they are able to pass those savings onto their patients. Some home-based primary care offices are cash only, while others take a combination of cash and insurance.
