The Founder of Generational Care, LLC

Hi, I'm Dr. Rebecca Osborne Lewis, the founder of Generational Care, LLC. I am a board-certified family medicine physician who has been practicing family medicine since I completed residency in 2013. I graduated from the University of Louisville School of Medicine in 2010 and completed my residency in Hazard, KY through the University of Kentucky's East KY Family Medicine Program.

I am a Kentucky native and grew up in Northern Kentucky with my two older sisters, parents, and grandma. I have been married now for over 12 years to my awesome husband.  I'm the mother to two elementary age rambunctious boys, who keep me on my toes. I love to read, do photography, make jewelry, and travel with my family.

Since I completed residency so many years ago, I have seen a horrible trend in medicine where the patient doesn't seem to come first anymore. Instead of working to keep our patients healthy, our healthcare system seems to be more focused on treating medical conditions and earning even more money.  After an unexpected family tragedy in 2022 brought home that no one is guaranteed a tomorrow, I realized that I didn't want to be part of that system anymore and gave me the courage to make a change. After a significant amount of planning and paperwork, Generational Care, LLC was born. ​
